How to apply: Depending on the region, submit the dossier to

  • The headquarters of the Territorial Office for SMEs (for Cluj-Napoca, Craiova, Brasov, Bucharest, Constanta, Iasi, Targu Mures, Timisoara
  • Headquarters of the Young Entrepreneurs in Romania – in Bucharest
  • Headquarters of the EUROPROJECT Center for Consultancy and Project Management – in Slatina
  • Headquarters of SMART Development Center – in Galati

Documents required for registration:

  • Application for registration (Annex 5)
  • Target group form (Annex 1)
  • Copy of Identity Card (certified – “According to the original”) attesting EU citizenship of the applicant with the legal domicile or residence in Romania
  • Affidavit of belonging to the target group eligible for financing under the contract and to avoid double funding (Annex 2)
  • Declaration of the consent on the use and processing of personal data (Annex 3)
  • Statement of intent and commitment on the availability and willingness to participate in project activities as target group (Annex 4)
  • Documents certifying the studies (copies of diplomas attesting the education, copies of diplomas, certificates of training stages etc.)
  • Marriage certificate (if necessary)

The documents in the application file submitted in copy shall be certified by “according to the original” and signed by the holder.

Young Entrepreneurs in Romania in partnership with with the Department for SME, Business  environment and Tourism, EUROPROJECT Center for Consultancy and Project Management and SMART Development Center organized Friday, October 31st 2014, 10 AM, at Ibis Hotel, in Constanta, the Regional press conference of the project “National Network of the Female Entrepreneurship Mentors – Mentornet 2”. The event promoted social inclusion of women and increase of their representativeness in the business and the procedures for registration and participation in the project. The overall objective is to reduce gender inequalities in the Romanian society by encouraging labor market participation and entrepreneurship of women in the 8 regions of the country. In the event spoke Mrs. Denisa VLAD, from the Young Entrepreneurs in Romania, Mr. Marius ANDRA Minister Counsellor from the Department for SME Business, Environment and Tourism, Mr. Iulian GROPOSILA, President of the SMEs Organization in Constanta and 5 of the 14 women from the National Network of the Female Entrepreneurship Mentors: Elena COANDA, Cristina CHIRIAC, Victoria BURTON, Nicoleta MUNTEANU, Irina VACAREAN. There were presented different issues and ideas related to social inclusion of women, the increase of their representativeness in business, principles to be observed in order to have a successful business and errors to be avoided, highlighting the importance of reducing gender inequalities in society and labor market integration.The event was attended by women from different industries, social classes and backgrounds, as well as representatives of the media. Press conference “National Network of the Female Entrepreneurship Mentors – Mentornet 2”, Iasi

Young Entrepreneurs in Romania in partnership with with the Department for SME, Business environment and Tourism, EUROPROJECT Center for Consultancy and Project Management and SMART Development Center organized Friday, October 24th 2014, 10 Am, at Unirea Hotel, in Iasi, the Regional press conference of the project “National Network of the Female Entrepreneurship Mentors – Mentornet 2”.   The event promoted social inclusion of women and increase of their representativeness in the business and the procedures for registration and participation in the project. The overall objective is to reduce gender inequalities in the Romanian society by encouraging labor market participation and entrepreneurship of women in the 8 regions of the country.   In the event spoke Mrs. Madalina HARAGA – Vice President of the Young Entrepreneurs in Romania and Mrs. Denisa VLAD – PR and Communication Manager of the Young Entrepreneurs in Romania, Mr. Florin Nicolae JIANU – minister in the Department for SMEs, Business and Tourism, Mr. Razvan Bogdan ABALASI – Subprefect of Iasi, Mr. Narcis TABACARU – Head Office of SMEs Organization in Iasi and Mrs. Doina DRETCANU from the “National Network of the Female Entrepreneurship Mentors”.Speeches were based on the importance of female entrepreneurship in Romanian economy and promoting their social inclusion by reducing gender inequalities, increasing their labor market participation and entrepreneurship:

  • “Women have a strong word to say in the national and European business environment, based on statistics that indicate that 2 out of 4 Romanian women run a business, and 60% of Limited Liability Companies for Debutants are based on their initiative” – Florin Nicolae JIANU – minister in the Department for SMEs, Business and Tourism.
  • “Statistics show that success motivates more women than men. Perhaps success means independence, confirming their potential and satisfaction of achieving a dream, a personal idea. But success is achieved with perseverance, hard work, sacrifices and with a team, especially in a business” – Doina DRETCANU from the “National Network of the Female Entrepreneurship Mentors”.

The event was attended by women from different industries, social classes and backgrounds, as well as representatives of the media.

In the event spoke Mr. Vasile PRICEPUTU – President of the Young Entrepreneurs in Romania and Mrs. Denisa VLAD – PR and Communication Manager of the Young Entrepreneurs in Romania, Mrs. Anca Laura IONESCU – Secretary in the Department for SMEs, Business and Tourism, and members of the “National Network of the Female Entrepreneurship Mentors”: Mrs. Cristina CHIRIAC – Financial Voice Consulting, Mrs. Nicoleta MUNTEANU – International Center for Mediation, Mrs. Elena TIUCA – Job Times International.

Speakers emphasized the importance of implementing such a project, the benefits to the target group, namely: reducing gender inequalities existing in the Romanian society, increasing labor market participation and female entrepreneurship in Romania. It was also highlighted the role of female entrepreneurship, the essential contribution it makes to the economy, the importance of involving women in business and there were offered personal examples of good practice to demonstrate success in independent activities undertaken by women. The event was attended by media representatives and various categories of women, including women who have alrdeay started a business.

Press conference “National Network of the Female Entrepreneurship Mentors – Mentornet 2”

Young Entrepreneurs in Romania in partnership with with the Department for SME, Business environment and Tourism, EUROPROJECT Center for Consultancy and Project Management and SMART Development Center organized Thursday, July 3rd 2014, 10 AM, at Hotel Cismigiu, Bucharest, the press conference of the project “National Network of the Female Entrepreneurship Mentors – Mentornet 2”.

The event aimed to present the development of the project: objectives, target group, activities that respond to the socio-professional problems faced by women by promoting successful models in the National Network of Female Entrepreneurship Mentors, by supporting mentoring sessions, by providing professional training, by stimulating the entrepreneurial development, through the campaign to promote the importance of the principles of social inclusion and equal opportunities on the labor market, by developing online television and printed magazine “Business for Women”, as innovative methods for promoting the role of women in business and performance, the presentation of the 14 members of the National Network of Female Entrepreneurship Mentors who will constitute successful models for the target group of the project.

In the event spoke Mrs. Denisa VLAD – PR and Communication Manager for the Young Entrepreneurs in Romania, Mrs. Ana-Maria BORCEA – Head Office of Projects and Programmes Implementation in SMEs – Department for SMEs, Business and Tourism. Speakers emphasized the benefits of this project namely the reduction of gender inequalities existing in the Romanian society and the increase of the labor market participation and female entrepreneurship in Romania.
